Kahuna

Ka Huna bodywork is a unique practice where the body is massaged with oil in long, sweeping strokes. The practitioner uses their hands, arms and elbows to apply soft and deep tissue massage whilst moving around the table. Many techniques are used to stretch muscles, improve myofascial tension, restore postural balance, improve mobility and reduce pain. Music is played and the practitioner attunes the flow of the massage to harmonise the various rhythms within the clients’ body, mind and soul.

This beautiful form of bodywork provides a holistic approach to healing by balancing the body-mind in its physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions to bring about a deep sense of well-being.

Kahuna is a deeply nourishing massage during PREGNANCY in which deep mind and body relaxation fosters the connection between mother and child. It can ease muscle aches and pains as well as help alleviate any stress and anxiety a mother may have about her journey. It is especially helpful for preparing the mother and her body to birth her baby and so is often used towards the end of pregnancy. Kahuna pregnancy massage can be received any time after 12 weeks of pregnancy.
